DM/MBTS can be used as natural rubber and various synthetic rubber accelerators , it can produce flat and medium-speed vulcanization, high vulcanization temperature, significant after-effect, no early curing, safe operation, easy dispersion, no pollution, and vulcanized rubber resistant to aging. This DM/MBTS has a slow vulcanization rate when used alone. It is usually used in combination with thiuram, dithiocarbamate, aldehydes, and guanidine accelerators. It is an excellent anti-scorch agent for G-type neoprene. It is mainly used in the manufacture of general industrial products such as tires, hoses, rubber shoes, and rubber cloth. It can also play the role of plasticizer or retarder in neoprene.
